searching for lost apples

I just learned about a man, Tom Brown, who travels around the East Coast of the US trying to find lost varieties of apples. In the 1800s a wide variety of apples existed for all sorts of different reasons. Taste, purpose, self life and when they ripened. As box stores and other more industrial forms of farming and shopping evolved a lot of these varieties were lost in the woods, literally. This guy tries to seek them out and get them growing again.
